Dupuis & Polozola, LLC’s primary area of practice is oil and gas law in Louisiana and Texas. The firm was founded by James H. Dupuis, Jr. and Kyle P. Polozola, and is located in Lafayette, Louisiana. Since opening, our firm has grown to five attorneys, three of whom are licensed in both Louisiana and Texas.
The firm handles both transactional and litigation matters. We represent companies engaged in drilling and operating oil and gas wells in Louisiana and in Texas, providing services such as title examination, advice to attorneys and landmen (company and independent), contract negotiation and drafting, and due diligence. We also handle litigation in state and federal courts dealing with all aspects of Louisiana and Texas oil and gas law, as well as property and real estate law, environmental law, successions, business and commercial law, and other civil matters.
