Michelle Rome Kallam is of counsel in the firm’s Louisiana office. Her primary focus is Louisiana mineral and energy law, including drill site and division order title examination, and due diligence in connection with the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas properties.
Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Arts in history from Louisiana State University, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1993 from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Louisiana Law Review. After law school Ms. Kallam clerked for United States District Court Judge John M. Parker and Louisiana District Court Judge Don Aaron.
