Nathan Myers is Senior Counsel in the firm’s Texas office. He is Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Nathan’s practice focuses on oil, gas, and mineral law. He has extensive title-examination experience for lands in a variety of resource plays across several states and is experienced at advising both large and small E&P companies on complex title issues and operational and regulatory matters. Nathan also has considerable experience representing E&P companies, mineral funds, individual and institutional investors, and individuals in the acquisition and divestiture of oil-and- gas assets. He has represented clients in an array of claims, including ownership disputes, lease termination, breach of contract, and improper suspension of royalties, and has represented clients before the Railroad Commission of Texas.
Nathan received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and International Business in 2007 from Baylor University, where he graduated as an Honors Program Graduate and an Honors Scholar with Distinction. He received his Juris Doctor in 2010 from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honors Legal Fraternity. Nathan is licensed to practice law in Texas and North Dakota.
