Mark A. Doré

Senior Councel

bio-Dore Mark Doré, a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Louisiana office, focuses primarly on Louisiana mineral and energy law, including drill site and division order title examination, contract negotiation, and due diligence in connection with the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas properties. He also provides advice and assistance to industry members in all phases of onshore exploration and production.

Before joining Dupuis & Polozola, Mark was an independent landman from 2004 through early 2010 and gained hands-on working knowledge of Louisiana mineral law. He received a Bachelor of Science in 2004 from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2009 from Southern University Law Center. In March 2008, while attending law school, Mark launched his own oil and gas/real estate title company based in Lafayette and continued working full time as an independent landman. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar on October 22, 2009.

Mark grew up in Delcambre, Louisiana and has made Lafayette his home for past 19 years. He is a member various professions organizations, including the Lafayette Association of Professional Landmen, the Lafayette Parish Bar Association, and the Louisiana State Bar Association.
